In 2017, Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe has reached its ninth edition. On the heels of a growing success that peaked in 2016 with a record number of starters, the one-make racing championship reserved for cars from Sant’Agata Bolognese saw the debut last year of the new Lamborghini Huracán LP 620-2 Super Trofeo with rear wheel-drive only. In this season, these unique vehicles will monopolize the championship's entry list in Europe and in the other three continental series to be run in Asia, Middle East and North America. A marque that is famous and esteemed all over the world, and a car that's conceptually very similar to GT3 cars, are a remarkable combination which is continuing a challenge of technology and sport at the very highest levels.
