Thursday, 27th July 2017: the fourth round of Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe has started in Spa-Francorchamps with the 2 free practice sessions. The historic Belgian circuit welcomes the teams and the cars in a wet day, 18.5°C under a cloudy sky.

In the 24 Hours of Spa weekend, the first session started at 10:35 (CEST): fastest lap by Loris Spinelli (#17, Antonelli Motorsport, 2:23.779), set after 18 laps. The Italian driver has been 1.439 sec. faster than the second one, Breukers (#7, GDL Racing). P3 for another PRO class driver, Cecotto (#23, Imperiale Racing). 

Good session for all the cars of Antonelli Motorsport, since the first PRO-AM class car has been the #30, driven by Galbiati (Antonelli Motorsport), P9 overall. Wlazik (#69, Dörr Motorsport, P4 overall) and Perez (#78, Antonelli Motorsport, P26 overall) have been the fastest AM and LB Cup class drivers.

After the lunck break, time for the second free practice session. Kick off at 15:00 for 50 minutes of thrilling challenge: after a red flag break, Cecotto set the fastest time (2:20.273), P2 Abbate (#6, VS Racing), P3 Wlazik (#69, Dörr Motorsport). Good result for the German AM class driver, since he set P4 and P3 overall in the two sessions. 

The two 20-minute qualifying sessions will take place on Friday morning, while the first of the two 50-minute races, with a rolling start and mandatory pit-stop, will start at 14:25 (CEST). Race 2 will kick off at 11:20 (CEST) on Saturday. Both races can be watched live on
