Round 4 Fuji - Free Practice Report



The fourth round of the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Asia is started today at Fuji Speedway with two Free Practice sessions. The first one was dominated by Emperor Racing, with the Huracán Super Trofeo #63 driven by Masmi Kageyama and Andrea Amici which signed the fastest lap: 1’41”939. Immediately behind there’s the Clazzio Racing #11 (Afiq Yazid and Kei Cozzolino), 1’42”029.

Third place overall, and first in Pro-Am class, for the HoJust Racing #38 of the duo formed by Matsumoto and Ochiai (1’42”473).

In AM class the fastest lap (1’44”412) was signed by Car Guy Racing #74 (Hayashi-Kimura), while in Lamborghini Cup class the leader of Free Practice 1 was Supachai Weeraborwornpong with 1’47”110.


During the second session the weather played a significant role, with mixed asphalt condition. Clazzio Racing #11 Huracán Super Trofeo with Key Cozzolino and Afiq Yazid signed the best lap overall with 1’46”164.
In Pro-Am class the fastest car on track was once again the HoJust Racing #38 (Ochiai/Matsumoto), with 1’46”731, followed by a 1’47”680  by Rik Breukers and Nigel Farmer (GDL Racing #37).

The fastest AM crew was the duo formed by Samson Chan and George Chou (Top Speed Racing Team #66)): 1’49”176 and 7th place overall. On top of the Lamborghini Cup class there’s again Supachai Weeraborwornpong (Top Speed Racing Team #77) with 1’52”717.
