The state of Kansas is in the middle of the United States and was once occupied by big buffalo herds. This August, Kansas will see a different kind of stampede when the powerful bulls of the Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo are released onto the Kansas Speedway.
The Speedway is little more than a decade old but already boasts a rich history of racing events. It was a stage for the IndyCar Series until 2011 and currently hosts two annual NASCAR events. Originally built as a tri-oval track, the Speedway now also features a road course in its infield. This year's Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo races will take place on the more technical infield and partial oval course track configuration.
