The Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo is at Spa Francorchamps this weekend for rounds seven and eight of the 2012 European series. Following Dimitri Enjalbert & Bernard Delhez's victory in the scorching heat yesterday, late night thunderstorms changed the complexion of the Spa Francorchamps circuit to intermittent rain and a wet track for the second race of the weekend this morning.

As the Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo series moves into the second half of its season, the focus turns to the most celebrated seven kilometres of race track at the imperious Circuit de Spa Franchorchamps in the Belgian Ardennes.
Blancpain and Lamborghini have confirmed the continuation in Europe of the Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo, the fastest one-make racing series in the world, for the 2012 and 2013 seasons. The series visits circuits across Europe including the challenging Paul Ricard in France and Spa Francorchamps in Belgium, as drivers compete at the wheel of 570hp V10 Lamborghini Super Trofeo race cars.
The Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo arrived in Silverstone for rounds three and four of the 2012 European series. Wet conditions failed to damp the spirits of the Pro Am and Am competitors, with more than half the 17-strong grid challenging within the Am category of the gentleman driver series.
