Round 2 Dubai - Qualifying sessions report

The two 20-minutes qualifying sessions at the Dubai Autodrome, for the second round of the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Middle East, will determine the starting grid of Race 1 and Race 2, respectively on Friday 17th (16:05 local time) and on Saturday 18th (9:55 local time).

During Q1, Hendrik Still (PRO-AM class - #26 Konrad Motorsport), also thanks to its experience in various endurance races at Dubai Autodrome, sets the pole position with a lap time of 1’36”766, near one second of advantage towards Axcil Jefferies (PRO class - #7 GDL Racing) in P2. Third position for young PRO driver Jack Bartholomew (1’37”797 - PRO class - #5 FFF Racing Team by ACM), while in P4, with a lap time of 1’38”012, there’s Andrew Haryanto (#71 GDL Racing), best in AM class ahead Davide Roda (AM class #72 Antonelli Motorsport).

The pole position for Race 2 was set instead by Marco Antonelli (AM class - #72 Antonelli Motorsport), with 1’36”929, just few hundredths of a second ahead youngster PRO driver Rik Breukers who sets 1’36”976 with the #7 GDL Racing’ Huracán Super Trofeo. Positioned in P3 there’s #15 FFF Racing by ACM car driven by Richard Goddard and in P4, best of PRO-AM class, there’s the new entry of the series George Richardson, with #47 GDL racecar.
