Breukers and Jefferies dominate the qualy sessions
of the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Middle East
Qualifying 1 and 2 of the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Middle East at Yas Marina Circuit saw the #7 Lamborghini Huracán of GDL Racing dominate both sessions.
During the first round, which determines the starting grid of Race 1, Axcil Jefferies has set the fastest time of the session with 2'10"233, ahead of the two FFF Racing team by ACM’ Huracáns in second and third position, respectively with Richard Goddard (2'10"762) and Jack Bartholomew (2'10"859) behind the wheel. In fourth place, as well as the PRO-AM class pole position, there’s Hendrik Still (Konrad Motorsport, 2'11"338) and in fifth place, first of the AM class, Grzegorz Moczuiski (GT3 Poland) with a laptime of 2'11"876 .
The second qualifying session, valid for the grid of Race 2, saw again starring the #7 Huracán of GDL Racing: Lamborghini Young Driver Rik Breukers marked the pole position with 2'11"258. Excellent performance for Marco Antonelli, who has placed his Huracán in second position, and the first of the AM class, with a time of 2'11"971 . The P3 went to Vincent Wong (Top Speed Racing, 2'12"773), while the best time of the PRO-AM class was scored by Nigel Farmer (GDL Racing) with 2'13"328.
